# Azure VPS setup notes
I have a lot more to put here, but for now:
### VPS provisioning
* You need a Sponsorship->Subscription->Resource Group->Virtual Machine.
* Check that you have credits in your sponsored account: https://www.microsoftazuresponsorships.com/Balance
* Add a subscription of type "Microsoft Azure Sponsorship" from the Azure portal.
* Create a resource group. (Needs more docs)
* Add a virtual machine. (Needs more docs)
* Add endpoints for ports 22, 80, 443, and 5665.
